Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico

On June 29, the resonant walls of Sala Nezahualcóyotl will come alive with the vibrant sounds of Latin America as the University Choral Program presents a special concert under the direction of Puerto Rican conductor Diana V. Sáez. This musical journey pays tribute to the continent’s rich cultural and linguistic heritage, with a particular emphasis on Puerto Rico.

The program features a colorful blend of traditional and contemporary works, including adaptations of folk songs from Colombia, Brazil, and the Dominican Republic. Audiences will also be treated to original compositions by renowned Latin American artists such as Eduardo Falú and María Elena Walsh. Through this diverse repertoire, the choir invites listeners to explore the sonic textures and storytelling traditions that define Latin American music.

The concert begins at 6:00 p.m., and tickets are available for $50 MXN. As always, the program is subject to change.
