The summer began when I had the incredible honor of sharing the stage with none other than my beautiful and talented friend, Marcela Molina, at Carnegie Hall.
Just a week later, I traveled to Mexico—a magic place, full of history, color, and culture. While in Mexico City, I had the privilege of working with the Programa Coral de la UNAM (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), under the inspiring leadership of Ana Patricia Carbajal, and conducting the choirs at the iconic Sala Nezahualcóyotl.
Two amazing concert halls. Two extraordinary choirs. One shared purpose: building community through song.
What a powerful and beautiful act of resistance in these times.
