The University Choral Program dedicates its latest concert to the rich musical traditions of Latin America, with a special spotlight on Puerto Rico. Under the baton of Diana V. Sáez, a native of the island, the choir presents a vibrant repertoire featuring adaptations of folk songs from Colombia, Brazil, and the Dominican Republic, alongside original works by celebrated Latin American composers such as Eduardo Falú and María Elena Walsh.

This performance serves as an invitation to explore the cultural, linguistic, and sonic diversity of the continent. From rhythmic sambas to poetic ballads, the concert highlights the powerful role of choral music in sharing the stories and spirit of Latin America.

The concert will be on June 29th, 2025 at 6:00pm, at the Sala Nezahualcóyotl, Centro Cultural Universitario (UNAM).
